The Content Engine 7305 operates either as a component of a Content Delivery Network or as a standalone content-caching device and is generally positioned on the WAN edge between your enterprise and the Internet. It supports device mode configuration and can be configured through the ACNS 5.x software to operate as a Content Engine, a Content Router, or a Content Distribution Manager.
