Every Cisco MCS-7800 series server includes custom backup and restore functionality that is configured when you run the automatic installation software. You specify a file location of another server on your IP network, and the MCS-7800 does the rest. All relevant data files are stored nightly at 2:00 a.m. (or another time you choose) on another networked file server. In case of a failure, you can run the restore routine, specify the backup file location, and be back online quickly. The MCS-7825 runs a variety of Cisco AVVID applications, such as Cisco CallManager and the Cisco IP Interactive Voice Response (IP IVR) solution.
