The short range DVI Receiver is able to manage 1024x768 resolutions at its distance capability. Signals are received over Cat.5/5e/6 cabling, instead of the traditional DVI cabling. By utilizing Cat5 cabling, users can realize cost savings on deploying cheaper DVI broadcasting systems without fear of losing any signal or resolution quality.

The ADE-8001 receives DVI signals from a DVI broadcasting station 15 meters away.
