... than I anticipated simply plug the Pro 200 into an available PCI slot on the computer and hey presto. It took about twenty minutes all in to get NIC1 fitted and a further thirty to do the same on my son's older computer. The cable was fed around from card to card and the two cards were linked together. I ran windows Home networking software and within a total of 1.5 hours we were networked and we were both on the net. When I bought my new computer about a year ago I gave my son my old PC for DTP and stuff like that. Shortly after I installed it all in his room he asked if he could get onto the internet. Now I'm into computers but I had to do some investigating to get all the gen I needed to do the job. So after a few nights searching the net I got all the info I needed. Each computer had to have a NIC Network Interface Card. I needed a driver on each computer for each card, and I needed a cable to link both cards together.
