Powerware Multi-Server Card

Powerware Multi-Server Card ... allows separate communication with up to six connected servers with mixed operating systems.

Working with any Powerware UPS that contains X-slot communications slot, the Multi-Server Card uses multiple serial cables and LanSafe software to add flexibility and control in a complex computing environment. The Multi-Server Card also allows a manager to configure each server to provide a graceful shutdown at the optimum time desired, allowing the most critical loads to have the maximum runtime available.

The Multi-Server Card has an additional serial port that supports relay outputs for Low Battery, On Bypass or Utility Failure. The additional port is also used for configuration by automatically identifying the type of plug-n-play device attached to the serial ports.
