Mario Kart 64 (N64) ... has appeared in such a sheer quantity of games in his lifetime that you d expect there to be a good few duds out there, a few outings where Mario fails to shine, and with the exception of Mario Tennis astonishingly all his games have been top notch. As is certainly the case with Mario Kart 64. The first Mario Kart appeared on the Snes (Super Nintendo), it combined simple but competent graphics, racing and fighting to produce a title that at the time was unique and very, very addictive. The years passed and eventually MK was released on the N64, would the game survive the transition with all it s addictivity (D oh that s not a word) in tact. Thankfully the game not... Super Mario 64 (N64) ... has appeared in more outings over the years than anyother single gaming icon. From saving princess peach in the classic 2D side scrolling platformers of old, to participating in sporting events such as golf and tennis with all his mushroom kingdom pals. Mario 64 was released alongside the N64 with it s release in 1997. Makes sense that to launch their new console, Nintendo would want the help of the duminuiti... These Aliens have mastered time control and so Adam must chase the exosolar invaders 100 years back through time in order to stop them harvesting the Planet s population. The game is viewed from either one of two camera angles, over the shoulder and far away or over the shoulder closer up. The idea of the game is to destroy any Aliens you encounter as they s...
