... has appeared in such a sheer quantity of games in his lifetime that you d expect there to be a good few duds out there, a few outings where Mario fails to shine, and with the exception of Mario Tennis astonishingly all his games have been top notch. As is certainly the case with Mario Kart 64. The first Mario Kart appeared on the Snes (Super Nintendo), it combined simple but competent graphics, racing and fighting to produce a title that at the time was unique and very, very addictive.
