If you thought Banjo-Kazooie was good, wait until you get your hands on this mind-boggling game! Rareware have really excelled themselves this time, by producing a game that will get you glued to your t.v screen. But beware, you are letting yourselves in for a huge, and thrilling challenge.

What is the story?

After defeating the witch at the end of Banjo- Kazooie, Banjo the honey bear, and his good friend Kazooie the breegul are back. What they don’t know, is that Grunty is free to roam Spiral Mountain once again. She, of course, has a small matter of revenge to deal with, and poor Bottles the mole is the victim. So once again, Banjo and Kazooie set off on an adventure to stop the witch once and for all.

What’s new?

Now, you can replay parts of the game to your heart’s content. This is done by the click of a button, and you will find yourself watching Banjo, Kazooie and Mumbo-Jumbo (yes, he is now a playable character!) fighting baddies, revealing secrets and opening new worlds.
You can also play mini-games from Banjo-Tooie by yourself or with some friends. Why don’t you have a tournament and challenge your mates to beat the king of Banjo-Tooie?
There are also new characters, such as Bottles’ brother Jamjars, Mumbo-Jumbo’s rival, Humba Wumba, and Gruntilda’s comical sisters, Mingella and Blobbelda. And yes, they are just as ugly as the evil witch herself. You have to see it to believe it.
Oh, and one more thing. There are twenty-five new moves to learn throughout the game. Phew!

How would I rate the game?

Controls
They are fairly easy to learn and remember, and Jamjars teaches you all you need to know throughout the game. They are quite simple moves, You do not usually need complicated moves to complete tasks. 8/10

Music
There is a big range in the music, with background music for each world, and sound effects for characters and moves.
Sometimes, the music does get irritating, but you have to listen carefully to it, to help you succeed in the final challenge. 6/10

Gameplay
Having a good storyline, funny characters and challenging puzzles help to make this Rareware’s finest achievement so far. The bosses and characters you have to fight are vicious creatures, who won’t let you get away without a battle, but it’s all worth it in the end. You will get hooked, I assure you. 10/10

Overall this is one great game from Rareware.
Thanx for reading Stoney
