Advantages: Huge, fun, will take a long time to finish

Disadvantages: can be a bit too big

Yes this is it! The long awaited sequel to the massively popular Banjo Kazooie. Banjo Tooie is about 3 times bigger than the original.

The game follows on from Banjo Kazooie and contains many plot twists which I do not want to reveal here! If you have played the original then you will love this. When you start you have all the original Banjo Kazooie moves at you disposal. However in Banjo Tooie there are a whole new array of better and more powerful moves for you to learn. Probably the best is the Split Up which allows you to control either Banjo or Kazooie. This is vital if you wish to complete the game. The other new move is the ability to use Kazooie to fire different types of egg! There are fire, ice, grenade and clockwork eggs as well as the usual blue ones.

The game itself is huge. Each level will take many hours of work to fully explore. What you find is that on entry to a level it looks pretty big but as you explore new areas will be opens as well as tunnels and passages. There are many colorful characters to meet along the way.

Remember Mumbo Jumbo from the first game? He turned you into different things to get through each level. Well now he is controllable at times in the game and comes in very useful. Now you visit Humba Wumba’s wigwam to get your self transformed into anything from a T Rex to a washing machine! It took me about 50 solid hours of gameplay to finally reach boss at the end. It was incredibly satisfying. This is an awesome game. It has style, looks, Humor, size, puzzles and some great mini movies. Everyone should own it! I especially recommend it to puzzle fans and owners of the last game.

Wait a minute! What’s this! There is a multiplayer game in it!

Yes that’s right. Rare managed to squeeze a multiplayer option into this massive game. It sees you playing as various game character and either blasting each other with eggs or taking part in the 15+ mini games! This is unbelie
vable! You will never know what you missed if you don’t own it! Defiantly a very high recommendation.
