Top Gear Overdrive (N64) ... that Im not much of a fan of the genre, it may surprise some people to find that one of the first games I got for my N64 was this, Top Gear Overdrive, a racing game. My 64 came packaged in a deal with Super Mario 64 and this, so I never really had a say in it, and probably wouldn t even have looked at the game had it not come with the console. The game is an arcade racing game that supports up to 4-Players and even the Expansion pack to enhance the graphics. It was released in 1998 to very little response critically or sales wise, and isn t one of the better known Nintendo 64 games by any stretch of the imagination. The game offers a single player championship mod... Read the full review: Not top, or overly good by Wolfzilla |

Mario Kart 64 (N64) ... is possibly one of the best games that I have played and I am only 18 years old. It is easy and fun at the same time and I believe that any ages could play this. I have been playing this game from a young age and the last time I played it was actually today. I have the Mario kart on both DS and Wii as well but I prefer it on the N64. This game has amazingly fun levels and they are broken down into four cups ranging from the easiest to the hardest. Most levels come with cheats, which is always handy. "Battle" on this game is superb and once started, you will not want to stop playing. Block Fort is the best level when playing battle and it is the most fun whe... Mario Kart 64 (N64) ... other day I dusted off the old N64 and decided to have a little run with it, as I rummaged threw my old cartridges I found Mario Kart 64. I forgot I d even had it, so I put it on all the while wondering if it could be anywhere near as good as I thought it was when I first played it almost 10 years ago. Pleasantly I was very surprised to say that this is still a fantastic and fun racing game. Its sticks to the most basic of basic principles in it s gameplay. Hold B to drive , A to break, L or R to Jump and Z to fire you re chosen weapon. There are 2 modes you can play in 1 player. Grand Prix and Time Trials. The latter isn t much kop but the prior is where the fun b... Read the full review: Welcome to Mario Kart! by briangilmour |
