... is self explnantory, you're playing footy. It does take a while to get used to this. I've been playing it for a few weeks now, and I still find it difficult to figure out my moves etc, and end up just bashing away at any and every button onmy controller, in no kind of order at all! ( it works for me). Mind you,t hats how I play most games these days. My son loves it, and at only 7 is far better at palying this game than his mum is. It is a great game nonetheless, and I am hooked on it. Thers not really all that m...more

Premium Review FIFA 99 (N64): Good fun but not a patch on ISS (660 words)

Fifa '99 is a lot better by far than any other football game for the N64 game console. The gameplay is so real and there are so many different options when playing the game. There must be five different moves you can pull that are suited for all kinds of situations. This version is a whole lot better than other fifa games by far, but i would have to say also over International Superstar Soccer. The controls are easy to understand and the gameplay is great. If your looking to score a good game for the N64, Fifa '99 is a definate winner. ...

Love football? get some mates round and play this game on the N64. Unlike their first foray into footie games fifa 64 this version, which is mark 4, is brilliant. It plays very fast, has excellent options for creating your own super leagues and cups using domestic and international teams, a transfer system, player and team editing and good artificial intelligence. Once mastered, don't play this game alone it really comes into its own when played with friends, there really is nothing better than mentioning a friend's belter of a shot has 'gone for a throw in'. Playing with friends in a league at the amatuer level really only results in a Rangers / Celtic ...
