Advantages: The Sheer Longevity of Gameplay

Disadvantages: That Nothing Has Ever Been Quite As Good As This Game

GoldenEye 64 is the 1997 first-person shooter game based on the 1995 James Bond film of the same name. This game is undoubtably a classic and is still highly acclaimed as a significant game in the development of first-person shooter games.
Playing as James Bond you play your way through a number of levels each based upon locations, events and characters from the film. The game involves general first-person shooter stealth and skill to shoot your way through the numerous baddies and complete individual objectives to complete the levels.
The game is very well designed and accurately recreates the film, a major plus point for all us Bond fans out there. The levels increase in difficulty and there are 3 grades to work through; Agent (Easy), Secret Agent (Medium), 007 Agent (Hard) and each one involves different objectives for each level. The single player game has incredibly longevity and is still enormously fun to play over 10 years since its release.
It is however the multiplayer game that really marks this game out above the rest. Playing with 2-4 people the multiplayer is a simple a shoot out with a range of weapons, characters and levels to play in. Its a fun and frantic game to play with many options so you can play and enjoy multiplayer over and over again and still stands the test of time.
Overall, GoldenEye 64 is not an overrated and easily classed 'classic' like many games out there, it is a classic game with both a superb single player and multiplayer which is as fun, exciting and engaging to play as ever.

Summary: An Overall Classic Game With Superb Single and Multiplayer

Definitely the multiplayer game that was the best bit- should mention that its split into 4 screens and each one has their own map to find each other. It was really an epic game :D But do expand a bit more in your reviews to get higher ratings from me. If you do update it, let me know and Ill read it again! :)
