James Bond - Goldeneye (N64)

Quite simply put this is the best multiplayer game of all time.

When this game came out, the demand for it was huge. I remember waiting for months to get this game. The single player was really very good with lots of levels and different missions to complete, and a great progression through the difficulty levels, which would keep you playing for hours. The mission levels also followed the film very well which for Bond fans is a real plus, and gives the game another great dimension. The reason for the success I think is partly due to the style of the control with it's unique trigger feel.

Once you are bored with the single player, simply plug another controller in and get ready for hours and hours of fun with the multipayer game.. With lots of characters to choose from and great sets of weapons and plenty of levels to pick, and even different type of games to play, this game will keep you entertained for a long long time.

The only games that really rivals the multiplayer on this are the newer game played over the internet, but you loose the interaction between each other, which is what makes playing on Goldenye so fun.

If you can pick this game up cheaply and you have an old n64 lying around. Buy it and get playing, it doesn't matter how old this game gets, it's true what they say . . . . the classics never die
