Advantages: great levels, bonus levels
Disadvantages: quite challenging at times
For me this is the N64's best game. The controls are very easy to use once you get used to them, and for those of you who just aren't good at aiming guns, there is an aimer for you, so you shouldn't miss a thing. There are also zooms with some of the guns. Each level has its own special objectives which you have to fulfill. A failure of just one, and you've ruined your chances of completing that level. Each level is different from the next so there is no repetition, so you won't get bored of this game. For the weapons, there are a fair few you can get your hands on as the game goes on, including the much talked about 'golden gun', if you manage to complete all the previous levels on the highest difficulty. Which reminds me. There are three different difficulty stages for each level, but if you want to get the secret missions at the end, you have to adventure of the easy mode. Goldeneye also has its own multiplayer section. Some of the settings are off the single player game, whilst the other are made up for multiplayer heaven. And i can confidently say that you won't get a better multuplayer game than on Goldeneye. Each level can be set to your likings, for example you can chose to have certain types of weapons available (my personal liking is the remote and proximity mines, they are real fun). And you can chose what character you want to be etc. If you haven't got this game already i would strongly recommend it to you. Its a must if you have an N64. Lets just pray they bring out a real sequal. Perfect dark just wasnt the same.
