From the start, this game is the most overly exaggerated, over hyped, over americanised game i have ever played and it is just so much fun! It has beautiful, big, bright, brash graphics that make the gaming environment much more visually entertaining than a lot of the other racers that will simply consist of tarmac grey. The crafts themselves are completely over the top and different and original in each of their designs, and the later secret crafts that you recieve as a reward for completing travks are hilarious. I have fond memories of this game, but not in the N64 console version- I played the arcade version, but it's generally similar, as far as I can discern. This game is BRILLIANT! It's the best racing game ever, and the idea of it being on water gives it a nice twist, that makes it different from the majority of games available. There is a wide range of boats and tracks to race on, with lots of varied pros and cons to each. My particular favourite is the Greek Ruins track- you freefall through the air with your boat as you drive over a cliff, and the Arctic one is pretty good though (you can hit penguins with your boat!).
