Advantages: Varied tracks and cars, Big and bright, a whole lot of fun!

Disadvantages: a little too easy?

From the start, this game is the most overly exaggerated, over hyped, over americanised game i have ever played and it is just so much fun!

It has beautiful, big, bright, brash graphics that make the gaming environment much more visually entertaining than a lot of the other racers that will simply consist of tarmac grey. The crafts themselves are completely over the top and different and original in each of their designs, and the later secret crafts that you recieve as a reward for completing travks are hilarious. When you get a booster and crank up your turbo engine, its a sight that will make you burst out laughing as they are just ridiculously big - some engines are even bigger than the crafts themselves!

The tracks are as widely varied and exciting as the crafts, with you able to race in exotic and wild locations, with many secret paths and multiple routes that adds to the longevity and the fun of discovering hidden paths only accessible through a special boost-jump.

The multiplayer is let down a little bit as there is so much going on onscreen that it is difficult to make our where to go, but it is still fun to knock your friends out of the water.

This game made me realise how games can be and it doesn't matter if its unrealistic or theres no plot or the developers have just made it as an arcade conversion. Its alot of fun and thats what game playing is all about - enjoying what you are playing - and thats just what I got from playing this
