Advantages: Loads of options including create your own player
Disadvantages: Not licensed by FIFA so no proper names for players
WHAT SORT OF MATCHES CAN YOU PLAY? Friendly match, world league, penalties, training, European cup or World cup. Nuff said.
WHAT TEAMS ARE THERE? I counted about 109 but I might have miscounted. All 109 teams are countries from around the globe, this can range from the skills of France to the amatures of Andorra, but no league teams I'm afraid. (it is international after all)
DIFFICULTY: There are 5 settings, 1 being the easiest (I beat Italy 12-0 on level one) to 5 being the hardest.
WEATHER: Imagine a game without weather, unthikable, well on I.S.S. there are 4 weather types: sun, cloud, snow or rain and also day, evening or night (which I know is not actually weather.)
GRAPHICS: The graphics are very realistic and feels very much like you are playing on a real football pitch. Even the players look real from long range, but from short range the players seem to lack any emotion because their faces are in a fixed position.
CAREER MODE: Career mode is a cool new option
on ISS and a long one. It puts you in the boots of a player looking for stardom, starting on a non-league team, working your way up to the nation's team. Each week you can choose to train, have a rest or go to town. Although if you miss too many training sessions, you may get kicked of the team.
The best bit of all is making your own player, as you can make yourself in the game - you can even become captain of England.
You choose the height, the weight and the face as well as your posistion on the team (ie. attack, defence, goalie) and even the colour of your boots. Once you've made your dream player, transfer them onto a team and watch them play!
I have found a flaw, though (it may just be my game, it may not) but the computer seems to do all the half-time decisions for me which is VERY annoying.
Summary: Score a Hat-trick with ISS 2000
