Hey whats goin on in your lives? Well if you are fed up with Lara and just cant wait for Mario then a new superstar should be at your fingertips. Yes thats right the new genaration of athletes on t+f 2 should give you goose bumps.Graphics are superb and the game play absoulutley kicks ass. This has to be a must have for all N64 owners come X-mas. Just imagen your self representing Britan in the 100 metres and getting the gold, then beeing overjoyed with listening to your countries national anthem, what a feeling. This is the closest thing to the olypics and is hard to put your joypad down once you have picked it up. I think this is a scorcher of a game so go out and get it now, Well go on what are you wating for.
If you enjoy athletics and want a game you can play with your friends, this game is a great one to buy. I am totally hooked on competing to get new world records and trying my hardest to throw the javelin out of the stadium! There are many events to take part in; javelin, shot putt, hurdles, sprints, long jump, high jump, high bar(gymnastics), weight lifting(which I find extremely difficult), swimming and other events. At first, it is a little tricky to get the hang of, as with most games. Plus, if you're like me, you will find it tiring to keep your fingers moving fast and in a rhythm, but you will get used to this too. I really recommend this game. Especially if you're a sporty person who is hooked on computer games, like me. Go and buy it!!!
International Track and Field was on of those games that I loved on the playstation years ago. Now its back and even better International track and field 2000 is here (N64) The Graphics and sound have vastly improved over the original making it look almost real, and creating a great “Competitive atmosphere” utilising the N64’s expansion Pak. With a variety of spots this is a great title to play against your mates, all of you bashing on the A and B buttons while your athletes burn down the hundreds metre straight, it’s a right laugh. More events would have made the game that much better though e.g. cycling canoeing which are available on the Playstation version. Otherwise a great game both in single player and in multi-player, which also takes a while to master all the events in each medal, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Be warned this will destroy N64 control pads, and one more thing all you people out there who have autofire NO CHEATING!!!
