Advantages: Excellent storyline, great garphics, great gameplay, addictive

Disadvantages: A little too similar, Release Price

I have only recently completed this game, and enjoyed every minute of it.

This game sees our hero Link fighting the Skull Kid from the previous game Ocarina of Time, who has somehow been made evil by a mask - Majora's Mask. With just three days - that's 72 hours - until the moon hits, Link must stop the Skull Kid. I won't give any more of the plot away, as it is a clever one, and I don't want to ruin it.

The graphics in this game make use of the Expansion Pack, which is needed for the game to run. However I don't see any real difference in the quality of the graphics between Majora's Mask, and Ocarina of Time. Not that that is a bad thing, since the graphics on ocarina of Time were excellent anyway! The same controls and moves are present here, with a few additional ones, more of which will be revealed when you play the game.

The sounds as usual are great, with mood music in all the right places. I've found myself humming some of the songs when I'm am at work!

There are a great number of similarities between this game and Ocarina, such as the characters, the Skulltulas, the heart pieces, the fairy fountains. So you would have expected a cheaper price since a lot of the development costs weren't present in this version.

I was diappointed in the end Boss, which was a little too easy to complete. However the adventuring to get to this point was challenging enough, and there is plenty to do to get here, including an abundance of sub-quests.

All in all a good game, but I'd wait until the price drops a bit.
