I dread to think how many hours I have spent playing this game, it is just so much fun! What makes this game so good is that it´s just as fun to play on your own as when you play it with your friends.

You can choose to play tournaments, against the nintendo characters (if you win, you can play with that character) and choose from a range of fun mini-games.
If you have the gameboy version of this game, you can upload your character you have made there to the big game - which is very cool.

At first you can only play a handful of characthers, but as you unlock them in the vs. mode you will soon be able to play a range of different nintendo superstars such as princess peach, yoshi, luigi, waluigi, bowser and last but not least - mario.
Each character has a description, how long they drive and if they play with a draw or a fade (curving the ball from the left or from the right)

the minigames includes shooting through rings, mini-golf, clearing holes in certain ways and a few other ones. There´s also a driving range where you can practice your swing.

It uses a 3-click swing control, you basically press the button to start the swing, try to press it as its just at the top of the meeter and then when it goes back down, try to press it from where you started it. If you manage to hit the exact top and exactly where you started, it´s called "nice shot" and you will get a couple of extra yards.

You can also youse the "power" mode, you get 6 chances in an 18-hole round and unless you get a "nice shot" you will loose a power shot every time you use it. So if you have learned to time your swing well - there´s plenty of extra yards for you to be had.
