Golf - a good game spoiled? (Mario Golf (N64))
Member Name: gozzer
Advantages: Plenty to do, gameboy link up Disadvantages: No significant ones
When I think of a golf game, I used to think ‘boring’, but Mario Golf has changed my opinion! This is supposed to make golf fun, and it succeeds in doing just that. The game is easy to pick up, because if you want you can just aim and hit. However, if you want to go into more detail, you can choose clubs, strike the ball at angles and even try to counteract the wind! There are also several play modes, including a speed mode (fastest to finish wins) and a ring shot mode (hit the ball through rings). This versatility makes the game last, and ensures that you endure to become a golf master! Also, if you have a game boy and a transfer pack, you can import your gameboy golf characters onto your N64 to increase tour EXP points. This is a very clever idea, and ensures that you keep coming back for more! Summary: |
