I just could not resist writing a review for this game lol its one of my all time favourites and will always be. When I was younger, I'd stay all night at my cousins house and play untill the early hours, having not owned a Nintendo 64 myself (How unfortunate =( But Ive got one now ! Yay!) Anyway, this game is unlike any other. You can have a maximum of four players and you go head to head to head to head lol against your opponents in a series of races that include tracks such as Mushroom cup: *Please note. These are the easiest tracks : Luigi Raceway : Moo Moo Farm : Koopa Troopa Beach : Kalimari Desert Flower Cup: ... Read the complete review

Mario Kart 64 is brought to life stunningly by the wonderful 3D graphics of the N64. The game is easy to play and is suitable for players of any age. The 1 player game is good, with 2 game modes available. One of these game modes are mario GP, where you race to try and win trophies. The other one is time trials where you choose a course and try and get the best time possible over 3 laps. However, it is the multiplayer option that really brings this game to life. up to 4 players can play at once on a variety of tracks. The multiplayer is so fun because this game is not a simple racing game, you can pick up weapons on the race course and use them to ... Read the complete review

This kart racer is great for multiplayer games, with 16 different tracks to race, and its great fun shooting at people with power ups. You can also just choose to do battles, where all the players start the game with three balloons, and everytime you are caught out by a shell or another power up, you lose a balloon. The last to lose all their balloons wins. If you're playing the game solo, you can still take part in grand prixs and beat your own personal time trial records. There are 8 different characters to choose from, including mario, bowser, toad and ... Read the complete review

I have now owned Mario Kart 64 for about a month, in this time I have become quite addicted to this platform inspired racer. Its mixture of smooth gameplay and challenges keeps me (and my mates) coming back for more. ***Packaging*** Well mine was fairly bashed about, as I bought it pre-owned (more on that later). However even with a crispy new one the same problems still exist. The way in which the flaps get caught in the manual, and fold over the pages. You would have thought Nintendo would have changed their packaging by now, or maybe they are concentrating all resources on the upcoming “Gamecube”. The design on the front of the box is ... Since his birth in 1981, Mario, the famous short plumber (previously a carpenter) has starred in over seventy Nintendo games, appeared on several different formats and encountered over three hundred enemies. Impressively, he has featured in games of various genres, ranging from golf and tennis numbers to cute little platformers. Another of these entertaining and crazy games is Mario Kart 64, the wacky driver for the N64. Along to play with and against Mario are seven of his best pals, Luigi, Toad, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Wario and Bowser. Each of the racers sport various strengths and suffer from different weaknesses. Small, light characters such as Toad, ... Read the complete review
