Pokemon Stadium 2 (N64):
... Stadium 2 is definitely my favorite 3D Pokemon game. Like its predecessor, the game s main focus is on battling however this game offers much more. Its compatible not only with Red, Blue and Yellow, but also the 2nd generation games - Gold, Silver and Crystal. The game brings 251 Pokemon to live in vibrant graphics and definitely will put your skills as a trainer to the test. With the N64 transfer pak you ca... Super Mario 64 (N64) ... Mario 64 took the huge reputation of the hit super Nintendo 2-d games and took its latest release to the next level with this game. At the time the two main consoles around were the Nintendo 64 and the Playstation, this latest offering was the first game in which Mario was playable in full 3-d, complete with huge fully interactive levels which simply blew my mind after playing it for the first time. Although I appreciate that time has moved on, and that Nintendo have been able to reproduce the then stunning graphics of the 64 onto a handheld (DS), at the time the graphics boasted by Super Mario 64 were truly a breakthrough and a real transition from the snes. The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time (N64) ... was the first Zelda game I ever played, and it has fed the addiction, so far lasting over 1/2 my life and it was no suprise when then then made the game for the gamecube as well. You play the story as Link, a boy who only just got a fairy, and you fight your way through dungeons to save Hyrule from disaster! During the game you can travel to older link and back again. It s perfect for a new gamer or a more experienced one. It has a good, elaborate plot, but it also points you in the right direction every time so you can follow it with ease. Alot of the moderner Zelda games follow a similar format to this Zelda, but this is still one of my favorites. It is a classic. ... Read the full review: Princess Zelda! by stripey_monkey |

Golden Eye 007 (N64) ... Bond - Goldeneye (N64) Quite simply put this is the best multiplayer game of all time. When this game came out, the demand for it was huge. I remember waiting for months to get this game. The single player was really very good with lots of levels and different missions to complete, and a great progression through the difficulty levels, which would keep you playing for hours. The mission levels also followed the film very well which for Bond fans is a real plus, and gives the game another great dimension. The reason for the success I think is partly due to the style of the control with it s unique trigger feel. Once you are bored with the single player, simply pl...
