WCW vs nWo - World Tour (N64): ... Hogan, Hall and Nash and Syxx all taking on WCW stars such as Rey Mysterio, Ric Flair and Sting. One thing I did love about this game which wasn t properly replicated in WCW Revenge was the Japanese wrestlers. Take Michinoku and The Great Sasuke , along with a host of other rare wrestlers are in there and you ll find they have the best moves! However I can t really recommend people looking out for it now as there ar...

Wolfzilla Star Wars - Shadows of the Empire (N64)
... and destroying his Star Viper forces. These levels also pack an enjoyable punch, especially the finale, as you make runs on the core of the Skyhook, dodging obstacles and launching missiles. It’s probably the most enjoyable depiction of space combat the franchise has seen since the marvellous Star Wars Arcade. Sadly, these sections only take up 3 out of 10 stages in the game. Boo. 6 of the others see the player take control of Dash himself, in a Third-Person Adventure style affair (shockingly, often referenced as a Doom-style game…and while you can adopt a First-Person-View, you certainly couldn’t play the entire game like that) where you basically run around, flip...

StarSoldier1 Yoshi's Story (N64)
... Yoshi s Island because Mario is not around this time but he probably didn t want to ruin his career by appearing in this piece of crap. In the game you get to pick from one of six multicolored Yoshi s on a mission to collect 32 fruits on each stage to complete it. Each Yoshi is good at eating junk and throwing eggs but certain ones like the yellow Yoshi will prefer bananas for example over most other fruit but the best overall fruit to get for all the Yoshi s is the light green Melon. It s a interesting concept but since the Melons are the best ones to get overall the whole different colour Yoshi thing seems pointless. Sadly it gets much worse. The game s biggest probl...

Wolfzilla Killer Instinct Gold (N64)
... kicks and special attacks. However, to distance itself from the pack, KI games work in a slightly different manner, in that instead of doing a best of 3 rounds of combat system, your character is simply assigned 2 bars of health for the match. When one is depleted, there is a break, where the round changes, and you continue, with your opponent carrying on their remaining health. The game s other niche is it s outrageous Combo system. While all fighting games have combos(that s combinations of moves strung together), KI is famous for its ridiculously OTT combos, which go well into double-figures on almost every occasion. The only way to interrupt these is by perform...
