Perfect Dark for the N64 was one of the best games. It has pretty good graphics, which can be enhanced with correct RGB cables and the gameplay is excellent. There are loads of levels to fight your way through. The unique thing about this game is that you play as a woman - Joanna Dark. You work as an agent and the different levels take ...  Read the complete review

I had this years after it came out and have to say it is as good if not better than Golden eye. The Controls and layout are the same but there the similarities end as the plot pulls you into a world of spying and killing. Each level is different and offers a nice set of challenges ranging from rescuing hostages with a sniper rifle to ...  Read the complete review

Perfect Dark is a first person shooter created by Rare, the developers of the classic shooter GoldenEye 64, and is a superbly well designed, updated and improved version of the aforementioned classic game. Perfect Dark was by far the most hyped game to be released on the good old Nintendo 64. Using the same game engine to that of Goldeneye, Rare once again set about creating an absolute masterpiece. The game stars female agent, Joanna on her mission to expose dateDyne for their links with an alien race called the Skedar who plan to steal ...  Read the complete review

The best game on the nintendo 64 game system, hands down. If you like first person shooters, this is a must have. I have played the first player mode only a little bit, but it is pretty fun. The missions are exciting, and the story line is very exciting. I've watched my friend play the one player mode, so I was able to understand the ...  Read the complete review

Perfect Dark is an amazing game for game play and is a graphical genius. You play a female secret agent working for a spy company. The evil Cassandra is bent on taking all the advances that have ever advanced, ever. The multiplayer option is amazing with a first for Nintendo, in that there are high frag weapons with bots to take ...  Read the complete review

I'd have to say this game is pretty cool. I hate to say it to James Bond fans, but this one left 007 in the dust. The guns are pretty sweet, and the combination of characters usable outnumbers Bond's to where it's practically hilarious. The missions are exactly too difficult, but I seriously doubt you'll fly through it in at LEAST ...  Read the complete review

In 1997, Rare's GoldenEye 007 game showed the world that first person shoot em ups could work on a games console. The game provided amazing graphics and superlative game play, and went down as the best console shooter - possibly even the best first person shooter full stop. Now, however, Rare have launched Perfect Dark - and it's in direct ...  Read the complete review

Oft delayed, and in production for more years than many of us care to remember, Perfect Dark, like most highly-anticipated N64 titles, was constantly in the mind of many a gamer for the better part of a year. Billed as the unofficial sequel to Goldeneye - a game regarded by many as the best console multi-player title of our time, PD had a lot to ...  Read the complete review

After playing through GoldenEye on the hardest setting, completing all the time challenges, thoroughly liquidising all my friends and so on, the idea of a sequel excited me somewhat. GoldenEye is an absolutely fantastic game - one of the best ever, might I add - but it's far from perfection. The main problem were that the AI was absolutely ...  Read the complete review

Did you like Goldeneye? If the answer is yes you will like Perfect Dark, Rare's pseudo-sequel to Goldeneye. Perfect Dark is set in the near future, and I won't spoil details of the actual plot, but I will tell you it includes aliens, and a bit of interplanetary warfare. But this doesn't mean all the weapons are unrealistic, as most are ...  Read the complete review
