This game, while being inventive, is the other side of easy, there is ceratinly no other game like it and everbody has different opinions as to wheter this is a good or a bad thing, personally I think this is a bad thing. It was a brilliant idea, bravo on Nintendo's part to come up with something this inventive, but they could have mad it far harder and more interesting, getting a wider audience, the problem was that it was pitched for very young gamers, say <7 which was Nintendo's big mistake, I believe they thought that only young people liked pokemon, but when I went to the league (and kicked the grand master's butt by the way) there were plenty of gamers that were 18+ and they were having as good a time as the 10 year olds.
The main concept of the game is you play a character called todd (or whatever you want to call him, the default is todd) who is employed by professor oak to take pictures of the 51 different (and easy to find) pokemon, your are on a pretty much set course, and the only manouvering you can do is to turn to face different directions and move about half a metre from your predestined path. The other thing that I don't get about this game is why the pokemon don't attack you, you are in a great big, yellow flying thing wearing a pink and purple jumper, i mean if you were told you were going of a photographic trip to the serengheti and were told to blend in would you wear a pink and purple jumper?
I completed the game in two days, all of it, and then it just got boring, all that was left to do was to try to beat my old scores, it is pointless. It is ok for younger kids, but the older pokemainiacs should steer clear and get Perfect Dark instead.
