Advantages: Very addictive, at first.

Disadvantages: Then soon gets boring.

My opinion:
When I bought this game, I thought it was excellent. But with in a few months later it was in the pile of games that I never play with any more. This was because it gets boring just taking pictures. I think the producers could have made it more exciting by also making the object of the game different. This is what I think the object of the game should be like. By making it, not only do you have to take pictures of wild Pokemon, after you have tooken a picture of them in the wild, you had to capture them in your pok'e ball. I also think you should have been able to move freely to explore, instead of being stuck in that stupid-boring vehicle. Also I think you could have had pokemon at your side incase you were attacked and a wild pokemon put up a battle. I suppose though if this was all changed, then it would have to have a different title. Beside all this, this is a great game, as long as you stick playing at it for at least 6 times a week. Then you will grow to love it.

The story line:
There is not much of a story line to tell about this game but anyway. Professor Oak has hired you to go around Pokemon Island on your vehicle, taking picture of the pokemon in their natural habitat. This is for Professor Oak's Pokemon report. You will come across photo's of pokemon that say new ?. That means you have took a picture at a angle were he cant recognize it or the pokemon is in a egg, or hibernation.

What the game has:
There are 150 pokemon pictures to hand over to Professor Oak. Or maybe it could be 151! well that’s for you to find out. There are 9 main levels. Beach, Tunnel, Volcano, River, Cave, Valley and Rainbow. All of these have different types of Pokemon. To get to the next level, you will have to take as many pictures as possible of different pokemon. Or there will be a secret switch to hit, or Professor Oak will make you look out for special signposts or other thi
ngs. Here are some descriptions of each level:

Beach:
There are many kinds of Pokemon on this level. Like grass, water Electric. The most common ones you see on this level are: Pikachu, Meowth, Pidgey. There are 2 rare ones. Lapras and Syther.

Tunnel:
The tunnel mainly has electric Pokemon like Pikachu, Electrode and Electabuzz. But it also has Digglet and Dugtrio. The rarest Pokemon on this level is, Zapdos. Which hatches from an egg if you play your flute and get a Pikachu to thunder shock it.

Volcano:
This place only has fire Pokemon and 1 odd Magikarp who jumps out a small pond on the volcano. The common pokemon you see are Rapadash, Vulpix, Magmar, Charmander, Charmeion. The rare Pokemon on this level are Growlith/Arcanine which can be found if you throw a pester ball into 3 bubbling Pools of fire, Charizard, which can only be found if you get close up to the Charmelion at the end and throw a pester ball, then it will knock the charmelion into the pool of lava, the a Charizard will come out. Finally, Moltres, An egg will be lying on the rails, all you have to do is hit it with a pester ball and it will fall into lava and a Moltres will appear.

River:
River has mostly water pokemon, but has a small amount of grass. There is no rare or common pokemon. There is just too big a selection. Like Magikarp, Bulbasaur, Poliwag and much, much more. A secret, hidden Pokemon is Polygon. Which can be found near the end of the level. It will be hard to spot but look for a little bit of the wall moving or a bit of tree moving.

Cave:
This has Pokemon like Muk, Grimer, Pikachu, Zubat etc. This has 1 special Pokemon to find, Articuno. You will fly over an egg. All you have to do is play the flute and chuck pester balls at it. Then Articuno will come out. Surrounding the egg will be 2 Jynx.

Valley:
This place has rock and ground pokemon like, Sandshrew, Sandslash, Geod
ude, Gravler etc. This is an interesting place to find Pokemon. It will also have Squirtles.

Rainbow:
This is a secret level which can only be unlocked by taking pictures of hidden signs. You might not get what I’m telling you but Professor Oak will tell you in great detail. There is only 1 pokemon on this level MEW !. That’s right Mew. There is not much to this level but trying to get a good picture, because Mew moves around so fast.

Graphics, fun factor etc:
The graphics on this game are clear and smooth. The drawings are very much like the cartoon. This is only a 1 player game with only 1 file save space. Beside that this is an ok game. The sound is ok. By this I mean the noises the Pokemon make.

Overall:
Over all this is a fun game. This game would probably be suited for children who like Pokemon. This game is very addictive game at first, but then slowly wares away unless you keep at it. Over all this is a great game if you like Pokemon.

Thank you for reading my opinion. I hope this has been Useful to you in some way. By the way. I have not told you all the pokemon, on all the levels. That’s for you to find out.
