When I say Rare in the title, I'm not referring to the game producer but rather the lack of copies of this game sold outside of the US. I first had an N64 in the late 90s and its taken me until now to have even heard of this game. Snowboarding 1080 was an awesome N64 game but it lacked any serious winter sport competitors, this game whilst not as good is quite fun to play and had the potential to be much more popular. Imagine Wave Race 64 and take out the hoops to jump through and add some snow and you basically have this game, the machines are easy to control and have a very similar gameplay feel.
