The inspired creation of Mario was the day Nintendo became a must have console. Mario as a character was a moment of design genius from his signature red hat ( which has a tendancy to fall off and also grow wings so Mario can fly) to his infamous " Yipeeeeee" and we instantly want to help him on his quest to save Princess Peach from the evil clutches of Bowser. By collecting magic stars throughout the game by doing a serious of different fun and challenging tasks, Mario gets ever closer to fighting Bowser and saving Peach. The game suits children with it's lighthearted fun but adults also get a great deal of enjoyment from completing the various tasks and earning magic stars. This is the game that took Nintendo by storm and because of it's success Nintendo launched lots of other Mario related games such as Mario Kart and Mario Party. However, nothing compares to the original and this without doubt a must have for any Nintendo owners. The perfect example of classic gaming is still going strong.
