That fat italian plumber Mario – where would video games be without him eh? Nintendo have once again surely set some amazing building blocks down for 3D platform games with this little gem. Above all, Mario 64 is fun, light hearted and entertaining. That’s Nintendo magic formula for all their games. The graphics are bright, colourful and bold. The sound is really good (Mario’s Mama Mia! Yell will make you laugh). The story line is simple, you have to rescue Princess Peach from the evil clutches of Bowser by collecting magic stars found in the levels by completing certain puzzles. What Nintendo have done is created a simple, yet dangerously entertaining and cute three dimensional platform game. Classic.
