Advantages: Beat up Nintendo characters

Disadvantages: Poor single player mode

This is a beautiful game and a Nintendo classic just like Super Mario Kart was for the snes. The cool thing in this game is that it allows you to beat up characters such as Mario, Pikachu and Link or you can in turn be them. Also the most original part is that there is no energy bar and instead there is a percentage of how low the gravity is for you character which means the more you get hit the easier it is for you to fall off and lose. The multiplayer option is the best part of the game and in some ways can even be compared to the quality of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark which are also fanatastic games.
There are loads in this game to keep you entertained such as unlocking characters and levels. The amount of items in the game is enormous with a wide range including light sabres to mushrooms and these all have different affects if you get them in the game. Possibly the let down in this game is the poor single player mode which is very very easy. You can also have a go at the time attack which is another way of earning a new character. When you play the multiplayer you can choose to play it in loads of differnet winning modes i.e. you can win by dying the least times or a time limit can be put on. I would have preferred it if they had put more things into the single player but I realize they have limited memory on the carts so I can forgive them for that.
I completed this game in a couple of weeks and got all the hidden characters and levels which shows how easy the single player mode was. I would definetly recommend this to any fan of multiplayer games but for single players this will get boring very fast. The graphics are about what you would expect on tha N64. Overall this is a fast paced multiplayer game with a unique and innovative style of its own. Nintendo fans SHOULD own this one.

I didn't like this game at first, but since I keep whipping your ass every time you play me in a multiplayer match, it has grown on me! Good op.
