Advantages: Its Superman!!!

Disadvantages: Terrible tunes, Gameplay, Controls

Here is the guy that has been around for so many years. Hes the guy that can run faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. Am not sure how many superman games there have been, but i dont think its many. Never the less here is another superman game.

Lex Luthor has trapped Superman`s friends Lois, Professor Hamilton, and Jimmy Olsen in a `virtual reality` version of Metropolis, and you as superman must enter it to rescue them. Populating this realm are the villains Braniac, Darkseid, Bizarro, Metallo, several other bad folks.

As we all know superman is unhurtable from anything except from Kryptonite. However in this game almost everything and i mean almost everything hurts superman. Isnt this kind of strange? Through out each round and mission, various baddies try to kill you. Just kill them and thats it really till the end of the round where you are faced a challenege. Mmm the kind of tasks you are faced with are so pathetic that in the first round the task is to grab a car before it hits the guy on the road. Very hard and exciting eh.

Overall a real disapointment for superman. This once so popular guy has either got desperate or just old. The graphics in the game are cartoonish and this does not suit the game. Also in the virtual reality Metropolish, the place is full of fog. This is really annoying and spoils the view. The tunes i would say are terrible and the noises sound as if someone is standing behind your tv speaking for someone miming. Another bad point is the controls. Almost every thing you try from even just flying is kinda hard to do.

A real shame for Superman.
