Advantages: The best Zelda game...The best game ever.

Disadvantages: NONE

The legend of Zelda is as important to nintendo as Mario. They both have poped up on every console and the will continue to do so!
Here we have the first game in terms of chronological order. It is hard to say the actual order of all the games but this has been confirmed as the first. I find it nice that it is also the best!
The story revolves around Link. Link is only a boy but he is about to become a hero. You play out his adventure across time to save his world and princess Zelda from an evil tyrant called gannondorf. I do not want to spoil the story for you as to play it through for the first time is such a great experiance you should know as little as possible.
The gameplay is amazing. The camera is set behind link and you control his movements using the analogue stick. Link has many weapons that you collect on your travels and you will master them all. Another nice feature is the horse back riding and you may also find yourself doing a spot of fishing! The fighting system uses the "z- targeting system" this was a revolution at the time. Basically you use the "Z" button to lock on to a target and whilst holding the button your movements will use the target as a centre which you move around. It works very well.
The Graphics were amazing at the time. The world is very big and for much of the game you can roam it at your pleasure. Now however they do look dated. It doesnt make the game any les special however.
The music cannot be praised enough. I have heard that John Williams composed some of it but have never checked the credits of the actual game. You will be captivated by it. You ill be humming the tunes the next day.
Also if you have a wii you can pcik this up on the virtual console for £7. I would take this option as it is worth it. Alternatively ebay is allways good for auctions of Zelda!
The best game on the N64 that you should definately own!
