I bought this DS 'game' on impulse a few weeks ago. They vary in price in the shops from £14 upwards. Before I continue it is important to point out that it is NOT a game. So for those looking for something to play this is definately not for you.

I won't bore you in listing all the books on here that you find on the cartridge. The list is available widely on the internet. However there are many famous authors such as Dickens and Shakespeare.

The software has its own virtual library were you can choose the book you wish to read. It is very consumer friendly. Once you've chose the book you can read a bit about the author and then read the book. The book is shown over 2 screens. Whilst reading the book you can choose a piece of very peacefull classical music to listen to. At the same time you can use the control buttons to turn the pages etc or if you like you can use the stylus.

I have actually sold a few of these on ebay and it is worth noting that a number of military personnel have bought this item. I guess if your kit can only weigh so much it is a great way of bringing some books with you on your missions abroad. Also the background light would allow you to read without your lights being on. The same argument could be used for those taking books on holiday.
