Advantages: No more excess luggage charges when you go away

Disadvantages: Reading on the DS rather than a book takes some getting used to

100 Classic book collection for the DS, is exactly what it says it is so you know exactly what your getting from the moment you pick up the box to putting the cartridge into your DS.

There are 100 books to choose written by several famous authors Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, William Shakespear the list goes on and on. Whether or not you like this is down to personal preference, I can really see the attraction, especially if like me your a bookworm and read loads, of taking this on holiday with you and being able to while away the hours reading without all the excess lugagge BUT it does take a lot of getting used to reading on the DS rather than having the book in you hands to read. You also need to make sure your near a power supply as the DS's battery life isn't brilliant.

This does however, add another element to the DS's appeal as family friendly and, without meaning to offend, this would be great for the older generation who don't want to listen to talking books as the print size can be increased or decreased and a great of introducing children to classic literature rather than handing them a dog eared book.

I'm sure with time that I would get used to using the DS to read from which goes along with some other products on the market that you can download books on to. Maybe the next installment of this will include a bit more modern literature as sometimes it does feel a bit heavy going and you feel like you could do with something more light hearted to read.

Overall this is a good product to buy (its not a game) but it might take a while to get used to.

Summary: Good product overall just need to get used to it
