The Sims 2: Castaway (DS) ... m a great lover of the Sims games, so I was intrigued by the variety of different Sims 2 games that were suddenly released for the DS. After some careful reading of existing reviews, and product descriptions, I decided to try Sims 2 Castaway. The plot to the game centres on your little lost sim who has found her/himself stranded on a desert island. You need to help your sim find their way off the island and back to civilisation. The Sims 2 (DS) ... loved the SIMS on the PC and brought loads of the expansion packs, I recently recieved a DS and this was a game that I instantly wanted. However, the first time I played it I was quite disappointed! I was expecting to create my own house, decorating it with different wallpaper and carpets, creating my SIMs to put in the house....but no! You begin by your car breaking down in a town and somehow you become the manager of the hotel in the town. You have to complete tasks like getting rid of aliens and bad people who visit. You can open new rooms by buying them. Although I was disappointed at first, I soon got used to this new version of the SIMS and became quite hooked... The Urbz: Sims in the City (DS) ... had played a few other Sims games but this is the first I have played for the DS and I am quite impressed with it. First of all you create your Sim by choosing their gender, the look of their face, their skin colour, hair colour, hair style and their clothing. You also give them a name and then you answer a few questions which will help decide which rep group you will work to be part of, the Streeties, the Nerdies, the Artsies or the Richies. After you have done this the game starts with you losing your job as a cleaner and as you try to get it back by talking to, big meany, Daddy Bigbucks you get arrested!!
