Mario Kart DS (DS) ... never having played the original (and im some peoples view, the best) version of Mario Kart on the Super Nintendo System, I have still been a fan for quite some years. I got myself an N64 some years ago purely to allow me to play three games, one of which was Mario Kart 64. I played it to death and it still never got boring, unlike so many other racing games I have played and got bored of over the years. Being a bit of a console collector I also have a Nintendo Game Cube with a copy of Mario Kart Double Dash, which I have also played virtually to death. Super Mario 64 DS (DS) ... s very hard to imagine a better game than this, on so many levels. If you only buy one game for the Nintendo DS, whether you re a die-hard nintendo-er from days of yore, or a completely new mario fan, you should buy Mario 64 DS. It s got everything- a massive amount of gameplay in the form of 3D adventure levels with tonnes of different challenges to keep things interesting, as well as a lot of engaging mini-games to unlock (I have wasted too many hours on some of those mini-games!) and even a limited link up play facility with the potential for some multi-player fun. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (DS) ... is more like a highly interactive, very pretty, plot-based anime than an actual computer game as such... it s a game that pulls you along gently with hints, and it s impossible to die as such, but you ll enjoy the story along the way. So there s no gameplay to speak of, but the gorgeous graphics, and music alone are worth a look!
