... you own a DS, then you simply must own New Super Mario Bros. It s the handheld s defining game and fully deserves its place the Nintendo canon alongside Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World. However, despite the game s brilliance, it is not the faultless experience that many would have you believe. Beneath the glorious art style and the tightest 2D platforming controls ever seen, there lies a serious problem. New Super Mario Bros. is just far too easy. ... I have come to be one of the parents that buys their small children a ds lite. For the sole reason of getting some peace when we go on a long journey or want to go to a restuarnt to eat. Neither happen everyday but it can still be torturous for us and others when it happens. My children by the way are 3 and 4 and can both work this game easily. The game comprises of either playing as Peppa or George and involves play really only through the stylus so littlies should find this pretty easy as I think it is harder for them to master games where you only use the controls.
