Professor Layton and the Curious Village (DS):
... got a Nintendo DS for Christmas last year and to be honest I haven t played it that much. I originally got Brain Training which I used consistently for a while, then it started to lapse and the DS got put away for a long time. Until I discovered Professor Layton and the Curious Village. I had never heard of this game until the most recent version, Pandora s Box, was being advertised. I decided I liked the idea ... Zoo Keeper (DS) ... is the one game I have for my Nintendo DS that I always seem to return to! It is hugely addictive, easy to learn and will keep you entertained for hours! The basic idea is to line up 3 of the same animals in a row by using your stylus on the touch screen to swap two adjacent animals with each other. There are lots of other games like this but zookeeper has the edge with it s bright, cheery zoo characters, catchy (but annoying!) background music and lots of levels so you can keep playing for hours! A bar at the left of the screen shows your time running down - matching 3 animals increases it again so the more you match the longer you can play! When the time has near... Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (DS) ... loved Professor Layton and the Curious Village so had to buy Diabolical box . I have to say that I think that this game is better than the first. For a start, the game is longer. I was a little annoyed at how short Curious Village was so was pleased to find that this game is longer - and with more of those all important puzzles! The storyline is also a lot stronger and you get video clips throughout, rather than the odd one here and there and a big one at the end. This game also has a memo function on the puzzles so you can jot down your calculations or trace out the shapes. This is a nice touch, although there was nothing really wrong with the other game s tech... Read the full review: What's in your box? by lolly23 |

Tetris (DS) ... Tetris DS game is so much better than all other format ones, this includes the great selection of modes that you can play in, Online play, game sharing and so you can do DS download play with your friends. But on the other hand there really isn t any good options to play with Online, you cant really customize the game your self which is a real shame, as I would of though that the new Tetris would have all of these features, but it didn t. The is still awesome though, although there are some bad bits nothing in general can go wrong in game play mode nor quick play. In this version of the Tetris game, its really sort of based on Mario, as while you are playing the no... Read the full review: Watch your lines! by djaaum |
