Plushroom More Brain Training (DS): ... Dr Kawashima, if only your second DS offering didn t seem a little buggy. This is the next game in the Brain Training series (I presume there will be more as they do make money), and as much as it is useful and entertaining it does appear to have a problem. That problem, you may ask, is that when it wants you to speak for certain tasks - such as calculating your brain age via rock paper scissors, it doesn t seem ...

Sweetiepoppet Nintendogs: Dachshund & Friends (DS)
... review is for Nintendogs-Dachsmund and friends. This game cost me 24 pounds 99 pence from my local game shop. The game starts at a kennel, where you must choose and then buy your puppy. Each puppy has a brief description on their personality, so you can decide which you d like to look after. Then you take your new puppy home, where you must give it a name. You do this by speaking into the microphone on the ds. You do have to repeat the name a few times for the dog to recognize it s own name. A helpful tip is to pick a simple name of maybe four or five letters, as anything to long and complicated sounding will be difficult to get the dog to learn and you may end up...

natsurvey Nintendogs: Dachshund & Friends (DS)
... is an interactice game for the nintendio ds that is a step up from the cyber pet that some of you may remeber from a few years back.. ahem. I was hooked as a kid on my cyber pets, feeding them walking them and helping them live their little two dimensional lives, so when i spotted this game i knew i would love it even though now I m supposed to be an adult!! There is much more variety than a cyber pet though. You can teach your pup tricks. in the same way you wouls a real dog, through repetition and reward. Tricks range from the standard "sit" and "shake" to the advanced "backflip" and "breakdance". You can Take a walk...

... so I m incredibly biased about this game (but I ll try to be fair with my rating!). I spent many an hour playing the original PC version of this game back in my younger days. So when I heard it was available for the DS, I had to resist jumping up and down for joy! (Not the best image for a 28 year old pregnant lady to portray!) Theme Park is one of the original theme park simulation and management games - well before Roller Coaster Tycoon or Theme Park World. It s great to see that it s been given the opportunity to be shown to a new generation. The designers have been absolutely loyal to the original look and feel of the game. Yes, the graphics are a bit blo...
