Platinum Sudoku (DS) ... review is for the Nintendo DS game, Platinum Sudoku, developed by Gameloft and published by Ubisoft. The game is based on the now popular puzzle where you have to fill in the missing numbers into a grid. Sudoku has been one of the recent puzzle crazes in the UK, and in the puzzle you are given what is generally a 9 by 9 grid with some numbers filled in, and you then have to fill in the boxes with the numbers 1-9, so that these numbers aren t repeated in any line. It s hard to explain this, but it s easy to pick up! You can play through a series of challenges, which vary in difficulty, which then allows you to unlock more and more grids in the game. The Settlers (DS) ... review is for the Nintendo DS game, The Settlers, developed by Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft. It s a strategy game where you have to look after your islanders, construct buildings and protect them. This game has a long history, having first been released on the Commodore Amiga in the early 1990s, when I first remember playing it. This version however is more based on the PC version of the game, released a couple of years after the Amiga version. This version comes with three different play modes, World Campaign, Roman Campaign and free play. Dogz (DS) ... review is for the Nintendo DS game, Dogz, developed by MTO and published by Ubisoft. This game involving you buying a dog and then taking care of it by walking and feeding it. This is a game which can either be played for entertainment value, or as a example game to a child of what having a real life dog would be like.
