Advantages: Good if you have a lot of free time and not much to do.

Disadvantages: Slow paced, not good to be played at night

I was excited to get the game Animal Crossing for my DS but didn't remain so for long. It starts off promising...you arrive in the back of a taxi to a small village, you get a house and a job...then thats about it.

I first played at night and soon discovered that the game is based on real time play and so all the characters were infact asleep. I walked aroung aimlessly collecting pieces of fruit for an unknown reason. I spoke to a few characters and went to the town hall. After this I gave up. Perhaps with more patience something else might have happened but I'm not sure it would have been any more exciting

I am sure the game appeals to some and I enjoy a wide variety of games including slower paced ones such as this or the sims but I'm afraid this ones not for me.

Summary: Good for some but not for all.
