Advantages: The graphics and easy to play look

Disadvantages: Not as many games as I'd like

There are a lot of brain training games around for the DS but hand on heart this is by far the best one! The graphics and music make the game more fun that the original brain games and fun for the whole family. Although there isn't very many games to play the games are much better than on other brain games.

The first thing you'll see is the homeroom which is where the game begins. Register your name and you're good to go. You can plays the games in practice mode (i.e. one at a time which is a good idea until you've mastered a few of them) or play them in test mode which is a test of a few games and will give you a grade at the end. There's also a Versus mode for play multiplayer where you can connect 2 DS consoles wirelessly in the same room and play against each other.

There are 5 cateogories with 3 games in each - Think, Memorise, Analyse, Compute and Identify. Each game in practice mode you should aim to get a gold medal in - it may take some doing in some games but it can be done! Each game is done on a timer and you should try to complete as many problems as you can in the time given. Theres a graph so you can track your progress on each game and see if you're getting better (or worse!) and it will give you a 'weight' score to see how 'heavy' your brain (the heavier the better apparently!). Some of the games include simple maths questions, counting blocks, the order certain characters make noises in, what shadow silhouettes fit certain characters, how heavy certain objects are on the scales, etc.

The test mode takes one game from each category at varius difficulty levels (depending on how well you are doing) and at the end you will get a combined brain weight and a grade (aim for the A+).

All in all, the games friendly and colourful fun look make it a great game to add to your collections. It's fairly addictive and the best brain game out there - and although you'll run out of things to do relatively quickly, its got a fairly budget price, it all adds up in the end!

Summary: Great brain game - will have you addicted for hours!
