This is really a nostalgic game and for it to be brought on the DS is fantastic! I am disappointed that it doesnt make full use of the stylus and touch screen but the mic is great for defusing bombs in special modes. It has single player and multiplayer modes, but no wifi. the principle is that you are in a maze like grid and you have to place bombs to bomb away the obstacles/boxes which may contain powerups, pick them up be stronger, get bigger flames, walk faster, more bombs etc. The aim is to bomb all other monsters in story mode, in multiplayer or arcade it is to bomb other players. The single player mode is great but is easy to complete, and ... Read the complete review

This is a modern day update of the classic video game Bomberman. It is very nostalgic & tries to stick to what made the game what it was. You play as Bomberman. A character capable of leaving bombs behind himself when he walks. You play the game from levels viewed top down. The aim of the game is to kill any other peson on the level by using the bombs to blow them up. There are different types of bombs like timer or proximity. Also you can collect power ups as you go that will make your bombs stronger. Playing the game is pretty simple. The premise is easy to understand & the controls are simple & easy to use. It is good fun too. ... Read the complete review

Bomberman, this is one of the classics and the DS has brought it back to life without ruining it for the rest of us by adding silly features or anything to fancy to the game. The basic principle of the game is still the same, it is a puzzle game where you as 'bomberman' go through a puzzle structured maze blowing up blocks and baddies with bombs to get to the finishing point and proceed on to the next level. This game is made interesting by the different kinds of bombs that you can pick up while you are playing it, remote controll activated, the new voice activated, complete destroying, fire and many more kinds of bombs are available, also you can pick up ... Bomberman is a game that isn't the same price range as the other top games, it is cheaper. The gameplay hasn't changed much since the very first Bomberman game - you'll still find those familiar items and characters So, when you see the single player, you could be disappointed at the boring repetitiveness of your character walking around a rectangle grid collecting powerups and dropping bombs and hiding behind solid blocks. The single player isn't great. There is a sort of storyline with some bosses, but it wasn't too good. The save system can be frustrating as you can only save after every section with a boss. You can quick save after ... Read the complete review

Yes bomberman has made yet another appearance this time on the Nintendo DS. For those of you that have not yet come across one of the many bomberman reincarnations let me bring you up to speed. Bomberman is an explosive maze based adventure. The game is set on a Arial view screen made up of square block walls. These wall are arranged to form a maze of sort with various walk ways some of witch accessible and some blocked off. This doesn’t pose a problem to bomberman though, as at a press of a button a bomb is dropped. The detonator is set for about five seconds just enough time to retreat from the blast range kablamo no more wall. Within this maze there are ... Read the complete review
