Advantages: There is a game to suit everybody

Disadvantages: Not replayable at all, about an hours worth of gametime, not much that keeps you playing

This game came free with when I bought my DS on a special offer from the store that I bought it from, and I'm glad they did as after about 3 hours of playing the game I'd already mastered the good parts of this game and given up on the some of the harder games and just deemed them as impossible to complete.

Although the game says it is for 3 plus, I would say this is a bit too low and would say that you would have to be about 8 to actually understand how to play the game and many of the minigames are quite hard. The game itself makes good use of the touchscreen, unlike many of the DS games which hardly use it and just focus on using the arrow keys still.

The game is basically a lot of minigames packed into one cartridge, you walk around the funfair and can select different minigames to play on. You strive to get the carnival crown and every clothing item from playing the minigames included. This is done by earning tickets from the games that you play and then trading them in to gain the clothes for your personal character. But aside from that there is not really much else you can achieve, aside from the high scores within the minigames.

There is a wide variety of games included within it however and there is something to suit everybody. There is shooting games like Shoot The Duck, throwing basketballs into a hoop and hitting down milk bottles. Mostly all the typical things you would expect to see at a funfair.

The graphics are pretty decent for a DS game, although the gameplay is just so dull, you hardly take any notice of them. The sound effects for different minigames make a nice addition to.

One problem is there aren't different levels of the minigames for you to play, so once you have got great at a particular minigame, it becomes boring playing it over and over again. Also, you cannot really play multiplayer with anyone, and this would have been a great addition, if you could compete against one another on your DS's.

Overall, I would say if you are desperate to play this game, just rent it for one night instead of paying the full price as it is really not worth it. Although it does have a wide variety of games they get old fast and are not that great. Spend your money on a better DS game that has more to do and provides you with a greater challenge than repetitive minigames.

Summary: Not a very good game, I would not ever reccomend buying it
