I have tried all the cooking mama games and have found them all enjoable. This game was not a disappointment. In this game you can choose to make items and toys. There is a large variety of crafting items and as in the previous versions you can unlock more as you earn medals. However a new twist in this game is the fact that you can play new types of mini games which unlock as you build your items. For instance you can play with the paper airoplanes by blowing into the mic and getting them to stay up longer or shooting at targets with your water gun. I found these activities a fun diversion but not an essencial part of the game. The controls in this game are the same as in all other mama games, you basically use the stylus and sometimes the mic to follow on screen instructions. I never had any trouble with it and my eight year old cousin also mastered the controls with little difficulty. Finally for alot of the items you can choose which colour or pattern you want to make it . Personally I found this game the most enjoable from the mama series.
