Despicable Me (DS)
This is a game from the movie Despicable Me, this game is called Minion Mayhem.
You have to go through three menus until you reach the game and once you start playing you are met with a blue factory looking scene in which you are to guide the Minions through. Clearing the first level is very simple and you only have to touch the the little yellow Minion to get him walking, pressing little buttons or levers will activate something to help you progress, the first level is a simple taster of what is to come.
The game allows you to collect extra items to unlock bonus levels and depending on how fast you complete the level your score will go up, time and score are then added together to give you your total and you get a shiny badge!
When the first menu comes up you have a choice of which 'World' to choose from these are ~
*Carl, World 1 A
*Stuart, World 2 B
*Tim, World 3 C
==Carl, World 1==
This world is the blue factory type one in which you click on the Minion to get him moving (See above ^^^)
==Stuart, World 2==
There are three minions available to choose from, one to zap away walls, one to take out enemies and the other can walk through fire jets! This world is a little more difficult as you have to control the three minions at the same time.
==Tim, World 3==
This is a lot like the first with different minions available to play as.
As this game is suited to children is has a handy feature of saving after each level is complete.
My son is four and he loves this game, he finds it easy to understand and really enjoys playing it. He loves the little yellow characters and knows just what to do and when.
I find this game quite fun if a little annoying at times because my son seems to know how to get the Minions do what he want's and I am in his words 'a bit silly'!!
It's a great game for kids and is nice and easy to follow. The levels do get harder as the game goes along (as they should!) but my four year old has no trouble with it at all, my eight year old enjoys playing it as does my ten year old although he gets bored of it more quicker than the other two.
A nice fun, friendly game for kids of all ages... including the big 20yrs + kids!!!
Summary: A fab game of a great movie.
