Advantages: A puzzle game, addictive, fun

This Donkey Kong game is just yet another wild and wacky game of the Donkey Kong series. In this Donkey Kong game, its really sort of like a challenge. You are basically Donkey Kong, and through out the levels you will need to hold on to pegs to get to different places just be pressing L and R. It really is that simple. Its also in some levels sort of like a maze. And when I say a maze I really mean a maze. For example your objective is to get some sort of panel for this Banana like creature, you are in some sort of maze. You need to smash through glass and stuff to break through walls and rooms. The panel is somewhere in the maze, but you will just need to find it which is extremely hard. So as well as having fun, you also get to use your brain as well which is excellent.

Throughout the game you usually will need to pick up some sort of bonus that will help you to get to the next level. These things can be Kong letters, Blue barrels, coins, and of course the best help of all Diddy Kong. He is extremely helpful and helps by getting to very high places just by pressing A. He nearly always saves you a life! But beware, once a monster hits you or anything, he will go, and so will need to do the adventure all by your own. If you find a DK barrel your in luck as Diddy Kong will pop out and help you! The bananas which are practically everywhere help you into getting better bonuses as well as giving you extra life's and level ups.

Along the game certain mini games will usually appear out of nowhere usually from catching bananas in a barrel. The amount you catch is the amount that will be scored to your banana collection. You chose at the beginning of that mini game for a barrel, there are 3 choices, 1 small barrel, 1 medium barrel and 1 large barrel. Unfortunately they are all blank so its a real challenge to guess which is which. The largest is the best and the smallest is he worst, so you better get it right!

Overall its a must get game for all Nintendo DS owners. If you are really into Donkey Kong and his games this game will surely be one of the best for you. Its a really interesting game as well as a challenging one. One ever I go in my spare time to play the DS the game I will chose will have to be always this one as I will be glued to it for hours and is so much fun. A recommended DS game, 4 stars!
