Advantages: Best brain training software on the market for the DS, Comes with a bundle of sudoku puzzles.

Disadvantages: Easy to get bored of, Most won't play it after the first fortnight of owning it.

Brain Training is a game that many people get with their DS, and is very much a novelty.

The game is essentially a series of mini games designed to test your skills in arithmetic, hand eye co-ordination and memory. There are a variety of different games such as calculating sets of 20 or 100 equations, reading a section of a book aloud, and memorising as many words from a group of 40 as possible. Although these probably do Train your Brain as the packaging says, it all gets a bit boring after you've played everything through a few times.

However, this is coming from someone who owns a DS to play games on rather than be tested on my ability to count the amount of syllables in a sentence. If you want to know which game in this genre is the best, this is undoubtedly it. There are enough tasks here to keep any brain trainer happy, and it has a bundle of free sudoku puzzles to boot!

Summary: Only people who specifically want this type of game should purchase it, not that much fun to be had.
