Haven't played on this for a while because it was put away tidily and out of sight out of mind. However, before I tidied, this was permanently in my ds and I used it every night, so did my husband. I love it! It doesn't become dull because you only need to do each game once each night. Not sure whether it does improve your brain power or not ... Read the complete review

I think by now, with the mainstream advertising campaign and word of mouth, everyone must have heard of this by now but does it really help your brain? I got this game back in August last year and used it every day, my brain age started off badly and gradually improved and I really sped up on the different tasks and training programmes, ... Dr Kawashimas's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? (DS Format) I bought this for my mum at christmas time to use on my brothers DS. My mum (as well as EVERYONE else) had seen the adverts for this DS game on the TV, and fancied giving it a go, to see if it was any good. Even though it was a gift for my mum, I was straight in, giving ... Read the complete review

I bought this for my mum for her birthday, mostly as a joke. I wasn't laughing when her brain age was younger than mine... This game calculates your "brain age" through a series of simple tests, which you then continue to play in order to improve on your original score. Although very original when it first came out, ... Absolutely fantastic! Really what more can I say. Even my son (7) thinks it is brilliant though I think it would be great if you could enter you age and the software could adapt to the player's age. My partner and I have great fun competing with each other on the timed trials and brain age sections. He always beats me on the simple maths though! I recommend anyone to buy this!

Dr Kawashima's Brain Training is part of intendo’s “Touch generations” software which means it is something that should appeal to people of all ages, male and female. I must say that this is one of the most original games I have ever played. A series of tests gives you a score and calculates your brain age – with 21 being the best. It may not ...
