== Drawn to Life == == What is Drawn to Life? == Drawn To Life is a game which is available on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii consoles, I am reviewing the DS version, but hopefully soon will be able to review the Wii version of the game too!!! Drawn to life is a simple concept of a small village which has been taken over by a dark force, which has covered the village in darkness, and trapped the villagers, called Rapso's, in cages! The village needs your help, as the "Creator", it is your job to find the lost Rapso's and uncover the village from the dark clouds, uncovering "gates", where your character goes to find ... Introduction: Drawn to life is a game where you can edit the scenary of the game, Paint your own character in all shapes and sizes and many more exciting features. Gameplay: Like the classic 'Mario' games, this game involves completing the Stages and Searching for new Items like a Submarine you can use to dive underwater. As you advance through the game you also get power ups for your character with items such as Wings and Guns. Graphics: the graphics on this game are very creative and is one of the first games to let you design and draw your own characters and parts of the stages. You can also select the Template tool if you are ... Read the complete review

Drawn to Life I first saw this game on the shelf in Sainsburys a while ago, and the cover of it looked so childlike, that I didn't even bother to pick it up and see what it is about. I have seen it a few times since, and it still looked a little childish for me. I was then given it to play on my DS, and haven't looked back since. I haven't yet completed it, but have been playing it for a while, so thought I would be alright to give it a review. The initial difference between this game and other platforms games, is that you are the "creator" and you can draw your own playable character as well as weapons, and ... Read the complete review

This Nintendo DS game was an absolute brilliant and refreshing game to play, i absolutely loved it from the humble beginning to the satisfying end. Never before have i had as much fun with a Nintendo DS game that lets the gamer completely and uniquely interact and design the scenery and items around them. Storyline - You start off as the... CREATOR, yep thats right you are more or less a god who is in charge of how everything looks and most importantly of all it is your task to help rid the Raposas (little creatures who talk) villiage of the darkness that has engulfed it. At the start of the game you have to create basic thing such as the earth, stars and sky ... Read the complete review

Despite being a 'grown-up', as soon as I read that this game allowed the player to draw their own character and items, I was overcome by a sense of childish glee. When I was 9 years old, I was completely addicted to platform games. Sonic, Mario, even Rayman or (remember this one?) RISTAR! It was my belief that platform games WERE video games, and could not be superceded. My second addiction was drawing. My drawing skills have never been brilliant - however, at the time especially I was very imaginative. I would draw comic strips that filled multiple pages, scenes of alien planets, odd vehicles, battlegrounds, dancing animals. I even had 5 stolen ... Read the complete review
